Spring is definitely in the air. All of the Spring 2012 nail collections are bolder and brighter than ever which lends perfectly well with the rainbow nail trend that was huge on Spring ’12 runways. I am working on a nail trend story for the May/June 2012 issue of Juicy Magazine and sent out tons of requests for rainbow bright nail shades. A PR rep for Pure Ice sent me their new Spring 2012 collection and boy was I in for a major surprise. I have always loved the color coral! It’s not quite red, it’s not quite orange and its 100% summer! Everytime the temperatures start to climb, the first thing I do is reach for my favorite coral polish and I instantly feel as if I am lounging by the pool with my white bikini, matching sarong and a pair of simple slides. The sophistication of the color coral is what I love. It’s a bright hue but it’s not garish or obnoxious. Just about any skin tone can rock this color well although it pops best on medium to deeper skin tones. Whether you wear it on tips or toes, the key is to find a coral that is opaque and glossy as the ideal way to wear this shade is high shine! Here are a few of my favorite coral polishes!
