Fergie is the new face of Wet N’ Wild which means there will be a new generation of girls rushing to their neighborhood Rite Aid or CVS stores and whipping up lip liners, eye shadows and lip glosses by the mass market beauty brand. The reasoning behind Fergie’s appointment as spokesperson is due to declining sales and an overall dormant positioning within the industry. It’s quite apparent that Wet N’ Wild was looking for a breath of fresh air to revitalize the brand and Fergie is most certainly the right personality for the job. Known for her urban appeal, she is constantly experimenting with her look and appeals to the trendy, younger demographic that historically is the target demographic of the drugstore brand.
