  • Sweet Tea: Is Kim Kardashian’s Hit Reality Show- “Kim & Kourtney Take New York” a Fake?

Kim and Kris caught staging a scene for Kim & Kourtney Take New York!

Not that this is breaking news but I had to report on a supposed glitch that surfaced in the cog that is the Kardashian reality show empire. If you watch the show religiously, you’ll remember an episode where the newly married Kim goes to Dubai for work with her mom/manager Kris. On their way back from Dubai, there is a shot of them riding in a car with darkened windows where Kim discloses her concerns about her new marriage to her mother. The editors of the show added this scene after the fact in order to make the crumble of Kim and Kris’ marriage more linear. It was said this scene was shot way after the fact and was actually shot on in a parking lot in Los Angeles. Check out the pictures for proof. So with this little tidbit of info, there is absolute proof that reality shows are scripted and edited and contain the tiniest bit of reality possible. What do you think about this? Is this fraudulent? Or is this just entertainment? Does this make you think everything Kim does is strategic?

  • Sweet Tea: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries Fairytale Wedding Airs on E!

Kim and Kris' Fairytale Wedding Part 1 Aired Last Night

If you live under a rock, that will explain why you are the only person on the planet that doesn’t know about the wedding of the century with Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries that took place back in August. Thankfully there were cameras following the couple around before and during their over-the-top wedding! The first part of the “Kim and Kris Fairytale Wedding” series aired tonight on the E! Channel and boy was it a winner. Marrying into the Kardashian family is tougher than becoming a CIA agent or going through bootcamp in the Marines. These girls are harsh and definitely are putting poor Kris through the ringer. Don’t get me wrong, Kris has a major issue with putting his foot in his mouth and leaving it there which I believe further fuels the fire that erupts between him and Khloe.

The second part of the series airs tonight and is sure to continue with equal amounts of drama and suspense. Even though we all know how the story ends, its still interesting to watch this family fight, love, cry and laugh their way to one of the biggest weddings of the year!

  • Sweet Tea: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries to Star in New Reality Show?

Kim Kardashian and Soon-To-Be Husband Kris Humphries in a New Reality Show?

i don’t know about you guys but I know I’m not ready to watch Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries prance around as newlyweds on a reality show on the E! Channel. It’s not that I am not happy for the couple because I think it’s fantastic whenever someone finds love. It’s more about the reality TV curse that bothers me. So many couples tried their hands at reality TV only to break up as soon as the show wraps. Haven’t these two ever seen MTV’s Newlyweds with Jessica and Nick? I mean come on. We’re already oversaturated with everything Kardashian from their nail polish collection to their clothing line on QVC to their upcoming partnership with Sears. Before you know it, all TV programming and retail outlets will be Kardashianized which means we won’t be able to get away from this kooky clan and their long dark extensions, mile-high stilettos and b-ball hubbies! I just think the best thing to do is step back and be a married couple who doesn’t have a camera crew following them around. Do the cool thing for a change and nix the reality TV deal. Trust me, it’s not worth it!

  • Sweet Tea: Kim Kardashian Heads to Vera Wang for Wedding Dress

Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian at Vera Wang in New York

As the world prepares for Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries nuptials, every minute detail of the wedding preparations has miraculously been leaked to the press. Just last week we spotted Kim Kardashian and her fiancee Kris Humphries shopping for his custom tuxedo in Beverly Hills. It looks as though this week, the reality tv star is letting us in on her wedding dress details. Kim and her sister Kourtney headed to the Vera Wing salon in New York and was followed by a film crew from the E! Network. I’m sure all of this footage will show up in a Kim Kardashian/Kris Humphries spin-off show. Vera Wang is an obvious choice. Not only does she design gorgeous wedding gowns for the celebrity set but she is a close family friend of the Kardashians and designed Khloe’s wedding dress. Knowing Kim, it will be stunning, classic and very feminine! Stay tuned for more news!

  • Sweet Tea: Khloe & Lamar Reality Show? Love it or Leave It?

Okay, I haven’t done a reality show review in a while but I had to put in my two little cents about the most recent Kardashian reality show spinoff on E! – Khloe & Lamar. I don’t have anything against the two of them as individuals but it’s hard to rally behind them as a couple as they are 100% media junkies who are looking to capitalize on their so-called fame. Khloe is not a designer, a singer, a model, an actress or a performer so what has she done to warrant getting her own reality show?

I guess being the little sister to Kim Kardashian, whose claim to fame was a leaked sex tape with Ray J, is enough! Anywho, I feel as though a show like this only further showcases how shallow our society has become. We all know that Khloe and Lamar are looking to take over where Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey left off. It’s just amazing how little talent one needs to be successful these days. I watched the first episode and immediately knew I wouldn’t be coming back for more. No one on the show has any personality and I had no interest in their lives whatsoever. I can gaurantee that this show will be on for one season tops! I think the reality tv show genre has officially hit rock bottom and needs to go back to the drawing board in order to inspire us again.
