  • Product Review: Healthy Hoo Hoo

Okay ladies, listen up, this post is for you. Even though you may not want to talk about it, personal hygiene is no laughing matter. Being that we were blessed with such delicate and sensitive equipment, we find ourselves in a unique position when it comes to our cleansing needs. We can’t use the traditional soaps, body washes and other bath & body products on our precious parts or run the risk of serious irritation, inflammation or worse infection.

So what does a girl do if she wants to stay clean and fresh without compromising her health? Easy, get your hands on some Healthy Hoo Hoo! I recently learned of this cool new brand through a PR rep who sent me some samples to try out. I instantly fell in love with the products as they are made specifically for our precious parts. Along with keeping you clean, these incredible products won’t disrupt the pH balance. They are free of paraben, fragrance and other possibly harmful chemicals so you can bathe and shower with no stress or worry.

The wash is my favorite as it literally cleanes my hoo hoo leaving me feeling  fresh and new. I highly recommend using the wipes for those moments when you need a quick refresher – these would be great in your gym bag or your purse after a night out on the town.

I love Heathly Hoo Hoo and I know you will too! Check them out –

  • I’m Currently Obsessed With…LUSH Happy Feet

My feet are in dire need of some serious TLC. After enduring a full summer of sandals, walks on the beach, platform heels and so much more, they need to be pampered in order to prepare for the fall. Even though we hide our feet in socks, boots and closed toes shoes during the autumn season, there is even more need to soothe, soften and nourish dry, cracked heels and tired toes. I recently learned of an amazing kit called Happy Feet. Created by LUSH, one of my favorite beauty brands, this kit contains everything you will need to maintain gorgeous feet no matter what the season. The kit consists of:

  • Product Review: Carol’s Daughter Vanilla Truffle Body Butter

Carol's Daughter Vanilla Truffle Body Cream, $13,

If you know anything about me, you know I have an obsession with smelling like warm, delicious baked goods. From cinnamon buns to frosted cupcakes, I love smelling sinfully sweet. Just the other day, I had the amazing opportunity to satisify my sweet tooth when I received a box full of goodies from Carol’s Daughter. I instantly gravitated towards the Vanilla Truffle Body Cream and wasn’t the least bit disappointed when I took a generous whiff of the sumptuous vanilla body cream. This body moisturizer is chock full of antioxidants and essential oils including soybean oil, sunflower seed oil and coconut oil. It’s an extremely emollient body cream that will keep your skin luxuriously smooth and soft to the touch. What I love most about this tempting treat is the delectable vanilla scent. It lingers on you like a beautiful perfume without overpowering you. I literally smelled the lovely aroma on my bathrobe the next day. I will be a creamy vanilla dream this fall as I enjoy my Vanilla Truffle Body Cream.

I try to remain politically neutral when I post here as the main focus of my blog is beauty and style. With the upcoming presidential election, it’s practically impossible to avoid the ongoing debates and tension brewing between both parties. Well, it looks like Bliss has decided to get in on the race with their limited edition presidential election lotions. There’s the O’bama which is a vibrant, energetic orange scented lotion while the opposition can check out Mint Romney for that refreshing, clean aroma.

  • Body Beautiful – How to Go for the Glow from Head to Toe

As you prepare to hit the beaches, pools, lakes and parks this summer, its imperative that you bronze yourself from head to toe so you can achieve your optimum summer sexy! Bronzing yourself from the neck down is not difficult at all. It’s actually quite simple and only requires a few simple steps and some products and viola, you’re on your way to looking like the bronze goddess you know you are!

    • Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Before you apply any bronzers or body illuminators to the skin, you will need to rid your skin of all dead skin cells and rough, dry patches. The reason why this step is so crucial is because you need to make sure that you are working with a smooth surface. Body bronzers and illuminators are highly pigmented and will collect in the areas that are not smooth causing you to have dark splotches which is not the look you’re going for. One of the best body exfoliators is Peter Thomas Roth Buffing Beads. They are smooth, spherical beads that won’t irritate or inflame the skin. They effortlessly remove dead skin cells leaving skin refreshed, soft and ready for bronzing.

    • Get your bronzer on. Find a bronzing gel or lotion that has reflective particles in it as this will make your skin look luminous, shimmery and like gold. After exfoliating, you will want to pat your skin dry with a towel and then gently apply the bronzing lotion to your arms, chest, legs and feet. Be sure to include some on the back of your hands and anywhere you plan on showing some skin. Let the product dry for at least 10-15 minutes before putting on clothes as the product may rub off and stain your clothing.
