Style File: Fall in Love with Kim Kardashian’s Style

If you’re a fan of Kim Kardashian, then you’re most likely a huge fan of the reality TV star’s fashion and style. Check out a few of the reasons why Kim Kardashian stays at the top of the fashion’s best dressed list:

Obsession with Fashion

The Kardashians love fashion!  “Designing is the most exciting thing I’ve done. I have a vision of what I want [the clothes] to look like in my mind and its fun to see it come alive on paper,” says Kim.  The sisters had a clothing store before the show. They were styling and Kim had a closet business.  They were obsessed!

White is Kim’s favorite color. She has a white car and loves white! She believes her sense of style is evolving. “I’m figuring out ways to be sexy without having to flaunt it,” says Kim.

She was inspired by the movie Clueless and that fashion was her life. She would wear the outfits from Judy’s. She had 10 of the outfits that Cher had. Also, she says it was pretty cool to have different colored beepers.

Kim says to always opt for styles that have stretch in them not matter what the brand, when it comes to jeans. She also loves the ripped jeans look.

Chanel and Balenciaga have been the bags of choice. Chanel is always a classic and Balenciaga is more fun and edgy.

Recession-ista style

Kim has embraced “recession-ista” style, which led her to co-found She believes that women need to be able to stay trendy and fashion-forward without having to spend a fortune.

On a casual day, she would wear tinted moisturizer and some blush and that’s it! She hates it when women wear the wrong foundation color.  “It might be the worst thing on the planet when they wear their makeup too light,” explains Kim.

Kim used to wear only velour sweat suits until leggings came along. “Leggings killed velour sweat suits!” says Kim.

“Always look put together and well groomed. Don’t leave the house looking messy,” she adds.

Kim believes that leaving things to the imagination makes style sexier. She says that it’s all about what you can’t see that’s sexiest.  “Our clothes are designed to be comfortable and sexy but they don’t show everything like some girls seem to like.  It’s all about leaving just enough to the imagination.”

Cute blazers are in this season especially in a color over some leggings or jeans.

Kim thinks glam can be her fashion. It’s her own accessory.

“Accessories can make or break a look.  The right jewelry can take an outfit from boring to sexy.”

Plastic Surgery

Kim Kardashian is not against plastic surgery.  She has tried Botox before and that’s the only thing she’s ever done!  She thinks that if she’s older and definitely after some kids, she might need a breast lift.

Kim had two dresses! She had a white Mark Wong Nark dress that was floor-length, with a slit up the front, square neckline, and she wore her hair up. For the other prom, she wore the same designer, but a black gown.

Her Butt

Kim doesn’t know where all this attention came from.  In reference to Paris Hiltons she says, “At least I have a butt.”

She has always dressed the same and nothing is new. She comments on all the rumors about whether her butt is fake or if it’s real.  “A few people have asked if it’s real. You can grab it if you want.”

“There’s nothing better than getting up and going right to the gym,” says Kim.  She has a trainer and is in a class called boot camp. She likes to figure out ways to keep her workouts exciting because it tends to be boring, doing the same thing over and over again.
