Product Review: Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow Face Scrub

Ole Henriksen, Sugar Glow Face Scrub, $38,

After running around in the sun for the past few weeks, I’ve noticed that my skin is in dire need of some help. From flaking and peeling and even product buildup (sunscreen, moisturizer, serum etc…) it’s pretty obvious that my skin needs a good scrubbing. Well, you know how I always have products lurking in my overflowing beauty closet. This time I reached for the Ole Henriksen Sugar Glow Face Scrub. Wow! This scrub is AMAZING! First of all, it smells like a slice of heaven. The sweet aroma makes this scrub almost sweet enough to eat although I wouldn’t recommend that. This antioxidant rich sugar scrub includes the following ingredients:

  • raw organic sugar
  • african red tea
  • honey
  • pomegranate seeds
  • pumpkin extract
  • rose hips
  • tangerine, grapefruit and orange oils

Before showering or bathing, you will want to wet your face with lukewarm water. Next, take a small amount of scrub and gently apply to the entire face. While scrubbing the skin, just rub the scrub in a circular motion as this will help remove the dead skin cells and product build-up. To remove, use a warm washcloth and gently wipe the product off of the face. Your skin will look radiant and feel silky smooth. I suggest using this scrub once a week. It is a wonderfully indulgent way to revive, rejuvenate and renew skin during the summer season.
