As a die-hard The Body Shop fan, I have to say that I cannot contain my excitement regarding the new product and packaging launches for the summer. If you are a beauty fanatic like me, you are well aware of the stellar reputation of The Body Shop and it’s product line. Cruelty-free, sustainable and made with natural ingredients from around the globe, The Body Shop was eco-friendly and doing the green thing way before it was trendy. I fell in love with the brand back when I was in high school and I lived for their delicious body butters. Strawberry and Mango were my go-to fragrances and the way my skin felt after a healthy slathering of the luscious body creams was enough to keep me addicted years later.
It looks as though The Body Shop is rallying up a new generation of admirers and fans with the repackaging of their best-selling body butters($19) in their top seven scents: Shea, Coconut, Strawberry, Moringa, Satsuma, Mango and Lemon. The new packaging is sleeker, cleaner and more modern while the heavily addictive body butter formulation remains untouched and perfect!
Another new addition to The Body Shop line-up are the Body Mists ($14 each). These lightweight sprays are packed with sumptuous fragrance and are made with Community Fair Trade alcohol sourced from sugar cane in Ecuador. They come in seven scents including; Moringa, Strawberry, Pink Grapefruit, Shea, Coconut, Vanilla, Satsuma and Mango.
If you’re a body oil fan, you’ll fall in love with the new beautifying body oils ($12 each). These multi-faceted oils can be used on hair, body and face for softer, smoother skin and hair. The beautifying oils are a wonderful treat no matter what the season as we are constantly battling the elements and need to keep our skin and hair properly hydrated. Formulated with a unique blend of 3 lightweight oils, kukui, sweet almond and Community Fair Trade marula nut oil, these body oils will transform the quality of your skin and hair. The beautifying body oils come in 11 different scents including: Mango, Shea, Pink Grapefruit, Satsuma, Coconut, Chocomania, Sweet Lemon, Olive, Strawberry, Cocoa Butter and Moringa.
Last but certainly not least, there is the new Lily Cole Limited Edition Cruelty-Free Makeup Collection which features several gorgeous products all inspired by Lily Cole (Snow White and the Huntsman), the Body Shop’s first ever Global Ambassador. The collection includes bright pink and coral palettes for lips, eyes and cheeks. There are shimmer cubes, liquid eyeliner, radiance puff and four lip shines. If the cute pink packaging doesn’t grab you, the fun array of items in this collection certainly will.
