Product Review: Zoe Dot Print Flat Iron

My trusty flat iron recently went kaput, so it was time for me to venture out into the world on a quest to find a decent yet affordable alternative. Rather than rack up hundreds of dollars purchasing a high-end brand at one of the beauty supply stores, I headed over to Target and perused the hair care aisles in search of a replacement that could straighten my hair without causing any damage or distress. After several minutes of picking up flat iron boxes and figuring out which ones were ceramic coated versus ionic tourmaline, I finally went with the Zoe Dot Print Flat Iron.

Zoe Dot Print Professional Styling Iron, $29.99,

First off, the packaging is super cute! I purchased the black iron with white dots and pink ceramic plates. It is so cute sitting on my bathroom counter. Next, it has tourmaline ceramic plates which is exactly what you need when straightening the hair as it keeps the hair smooth and silky and won’t crinkle or damage the hair. It doesn’t have a heat setting but that was fine as it worked perfectly on my naturally curly/wavy hair. It didn’t give my hair that burnt smell or leave it oily or limp like some other straighteners do. I also love that it comes with a pink thermal pouch for travel which is ideal as no one wants to burn a whole in their toiletry bag. All in all, I give this straightener a thumbs up! I highly recommend it for those of us on beauty budgets and in between stylers. It will be my go to straightener for now!

I absolutely love my Zoe Styling Iron (Black w/white dots). One question… Will I be able to use it in England next month when I go for a visit? I have a step down power converter (50 to 2,000 watt), will this work?
I guess that was two questions… sorry! Thanks! G.

I believe you should be able to use it. I have never traveled internationally with my flat iron so I don’t know if the power converter you have is the right one. Good luck!

Beauty. I do have a few questions for you if you don’t mind. Is it simply me or does it seem like a few of the comments appear like they are written by brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing on additional online social sites, I would like to keep up with anything fresh you have to post. Could you make a list of every one of all your public sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
