La La Vasquez is now becoming a celeb in her own right as the fiancee and mother of Denver Nugget’s superstar Carmelo Anthony’s child and one of Kim Kardashian’s BFF’s. La La Vasquez is a Nuyorican which is a person of Puerto Rican descent born and raised in New York. She got her start on MTV back in 2000 and was the host of TRL as well as Direct Effect.
She is definitely a trendsetter with her great sense of style and her willingness to try new looks and think outside the box. Her most recent style move was when she did the Cassie cut and sheared off half of her hair on one side for an edgy cut that suited her quite well.
La La is paving the way for Latinas and mixed race women everywhere by not conforming to society’s standards of style, fashion and beauty.
